Kings hoping to hit lottery with Oklahoma's Blake Griffin

Coming off an NBA-worst 17-win season, the Sacramento Kings don't have a coach, a new state-of-the-art arena they've been trying to get for about the past 10 years, or a franchise talent who will bring back the boisterous, sellout crowds for the first time since Chris Webber and Mike Bibby were giving the Lakers all they could handle in the playoffs.

Then again, things could get even worse for the Kings.

They could wind up missing out on having a chance to land the consensus No. 1 pick in June's draft, if the Ping-Pong balls don't bounce their way in Tuesday's NBA lottery.
